Plageurism

Weblog Tools Collection — Plageurism in blogging, now we just need “spellchecking in blogging.” Good article nonetheless. (Anyone who copies and pastes it into my comments doesn’t get a cookie.)

  1. Rebloggers are pathetic, but annoying none-the-less. (I’ve had one, wow!)

Oh and I never noticed until yesterday or so, but Dunstan’s blog has a built-in spelling checker. (Try previewing a comment with a non-existing word, it’s fun.) Might be a WordPress idea? 😉

  2. I’ve thought about integrating a spell checker before but there’s no good cross-platform way to do it except using some sort of web service, which I wouldn’t mind but which could be pretty hard on the server it’s hosted on.
