I signed up for a testing account (they have this option too ), and it looks like blogsome is a cousin of WP Blogs. (Both supported by wordpressblogs.com)
I have tried blogthing before, that one has Google pageads on the sidebar. I still don’t see how blogsome is supporting themself, and I will reserved from recommending it to peoples until that is more clear.
Blogsome will be using adverts, probably along the lines of blogger.com blogs, although that’s pure speculation on my part.
The bills have to be paid in some way and the money it generates goes towards supporting WordPress in a round-about way (developers get paid to hack on WordPress!) so I’d recommend them once they’re off the ground!
Current score: 0+1
