I’m really not all that surprised that TxD was sold. It really seemed like the founders were not all that good at customer service. Hopefully Joyent will do a better job.

I agree - I was a TextDrive subscriber for a while, but the support tended to be dreadfully sarcastic at times, the server setup honestly wasn’t that great and I couldn’t get on with the way it removed http://www. from domains by default. I left in the end for Bytemark, a host here in the UK.

I’ve been pretty happy with TextDrive myself. My problems including massive comment spam attakcs have been dealt with pretty effectively
