WebWorkerDaily

Om has launched a new blog called WebWorkerDaily, it’s hosted by WordPress.com as part of a new program we’re making public soon.

  1. Assuming Jonathan is right and WordPress.com is headed toward a get-your-own-space program, I think this would be an excellent idea! Interesting thoughts come to mind. One can get a wordpress.org blog hosted by a third-party (manual installation or using a one-click-away script). Or… just start small with wp.com, then grow big(ger) with your own domain. Now, I’m not sure how search engines will deal with redirections or URL changes… could be tricky… even if done properly by sending HTTP header with status code 301. I heard success stories, as well as ‘Googlejuice’ disasters. But bookmarks shouldn’t be an issue, I think.
