OpenID on WordPress.com
You can now use your WordPress.com URL as an OpenID, and we’re going to release the MU plugin that does it after getting some kinks worked out. This is also a bit of a coming out for Simon Willison, who implemented it all. Welcome to the team.

Hello,
Great idea !
What would be enven greater is a plug in allowing personal WP install to use wordpress.com openID system for login (a good link between the big wordpress.com country and the samll personal WP install islands)

Great! But now the big, unavoidable question is: When will WordPress become an OpenID consumer as well?

This is totally awesome! But I agree, I want to see WordPress become a consumer as well!
