Yahoo! Shortcuts

Yahoo! Shortcuts is a new service from Yahoo that puts links and rich “stuff” on your page. It has launched exclusively as a plugin for WordPress. Most aren’t something I would use myself, except the Flickr one, but still cool.

    Hmm. Yep.

Seems to me that all the plugin achieves is to place free advertisements for Yahoo (and it’s associated advertising) on our blogs.

    I don’t think so.

  2. This is actually a really cool tool for WordPress. I really like the freedom it gives the user to enable or disable all or some of the links it finds.

Any chance this will get added to WordPress.com? I would really like to be able to use it there too!

    Thanks for the heads-up!

  3. It’s cool alright, but the whole free advertising and everything for them, and we get nothing…..I don’t think so. If they had it set-up for a PPC kind of deal I’d re-activate the plug-in lol.
